"Find a Way Or Make One!"
Theatrical Production at CAMP Rehoboth

CAMP Rehoboth is excited to host “Find a Way Or Make One!,” a theatrical production written by Lisa Graff with Holly Lane on vocals and John Francis Flynn on keys.

About the Show

The dynamic trio of Lisa Graff, Holly Lane, and John Francis Flynn will bring “Find a Way Or Make One!,” Graff's ninth original show, to the CAMP Rehoboth Elkins-Archibald Atrium on Saturday, August 22 at 5 p.m. The show is about “all those times when life presented obstacles, and I found a way to thrive,” said Graff.

Graff shared:

A graduate from Robert E. Peary High School in 1972, “I will find a way or make one,” was our alma mater. Our mascot was a husky. I disliked high school so already I feel that I conquered one obstacle—graduation! Supposedly Peary discovered the north pole, but Hannibal might have crossed the Alps with those elephants before Peary found the pole. Men intent on acquiring more territory. Where have we heard this before? Every human being runs into problems and somehow, we figure out how to overcome our situation or maybe even realize our goals were misguided.

I am thrilled to return to our favorite venue, CAMPRehoboth, this summer! Super excited to perform with my friends, singer Holly Lane and pianist John Flynn. All of my stories are true.

No names have been changed to protect the innocent. Because no one was innocent, except me.

About the Talent

Lisa is a former columnist for the Cape Gazette, the author of two novels, and is planning to produce her first play, Happy Anniversary. Lisa J. Graff has been writing and starring in her original shows since 2022 and has established a local following. All of her shows are Lisa’s own life stories. Her goal is to add humor and a few poignant messages for the audience. Lisa has brought previous shows to venues like The Room at Cedar Grove and the Cinema Art Theater.

Holly Lane was born in DC, and discovered a love of travel at age ten, going to France for the first time. She was later able to see the world as a dancer in Chicago, the Bahamas, Martinique, Greece, Switzerland, and Paris, where she discovered her voice and her love of jazz, singing in jazz clubs, cabarets, theaters, and cruise ships. In addition to the great American songbook, she also performs French music and showtunes. She has called Rehoboth Beach home since 1996, and she has been playing with John Flynn for about 15 years, at Cafe Azafran on Thursdays amid other gigs around town. She has also recorded two CDs with Shore Jazz who she joined in 2000 and still performs with from time to time.

John Flynn is a Philly born native who's lived in Rehoboth for 18 years. He's played piano full-time since '78 and was also lead vocalist for several bands in the 90s. Early 2000s brought a new project with the lead role of "Syd" in The Pajama Game in Bucks County PA. He's performed on the east coast from the Delmarva & Philly area to NYC & Provincetown, Mass. You can catch him in town year-round at Blue Moon, La Fable, Café Azafrán with Holly, Paul Cullen's Room at Cedar Grove with Lisa Graff & Holly Lane, and now proudly at CAMP Rehoboth with both ladies!
